Previously, Jeff was the co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Buddy Media. Salesforce acquired Buddy Media in 2012 for 800 Million.
Jeff played a central role in guiding the company from a start-up into the largest enterprise social marketing suite in the world. Founded in 2007, Buddy Media empowered brands and agencies with a SaaS platform to organize and control their social marketing programs. Buddy Media enabled companies to publish content, place and optimize social ads and measure the effectiveness of social marketing programs. As a result, customers were able to determine which content is driving the most engagement, test different strategies and understand which campaigns are delivering the greatest return on investment.
Today, Jeff currently serves as managing partner of Ragovin Ventures. Ragovin Ventures advises startups with proven methodologies and techniques to scale faster and smarter.
Jeff speaks frequently to give his knowledge and insights on digital marketing at brands across industry wide events like Mashable, the Direct Marketing Association, Digital Hollywood, Internet Week, Mediapost, Dreamforce, IAB, Forbes and many others.
Jeff was born and raised in Manhattan and graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego with a BA in Broadcasting and Mass Media. He enjoys fishing and cooking and is a frequent traveler.
